This public art project was an interactive video that was installed next to the footprint of the highly controversial ‘Atlantic Yards’ real-estate development in 2007/08. Presented in the window of the Soapbox Gallery on Dean St in Brooklyn, anyone passing by the window could interactively compare two architectural futures with the present: a) the future that the developers were planning and b) that which was imagined by local children. In this way people could compare where our children want to live with what we actually build for them.
Created with the help of Ariel Efron and Christian Croft.
